Bring Back defibillator and also still use "patching up" from BFV...

Defibs as a full health action with a big revive hitbox detection to avoid issues. it used to be a tactical thing to use defibs, maybe in line like bf3/bf4 version.

The BF1 through BFV "stimpack,"lifting up, or "patching up" to revive for non-defib medic/support. Pretty much kinda the same but no defib animation.

Also to unlock a weapon like the M249 and other portal weapons is difficult because no one is playing with the classic characters, either open up the challenge or broaden the choices. Right now there's no access to defibs in 2042 and revives can be the challenge instead of being restrictive to using the defibs.

Defib kills with an upper torso hitbox for a kill would be much appreciated, the accuracy sucks on defibs throughout BF series.

  • Heh, I've gotten so used to the way that revive works in 2042 that when I change modes and play something in BFBC2 Portal it almost feels like the revives there are cheating now :-)

  • @TwiztedMannix I think part of your point is that you can't run up to a downed player, scan the area for enemies while you're reviving. You have to be looking at a specific point to get it started....

    That bugs me too...

I actually liked the way it was in battlefield five. it was a risk and it was exciting at the same time. You could not look around while you were reviving. You were in that fantastic animation, and it was very immersive. I find it kind of ridiculous in battlefield 2042 that you can just go up to a player and revive in the ‘air‘ sometimes looking in the opposite direction. Looked very broken to me when i started to play 2042, but I got used to it. It even looks bad looking at other players reviving. I also dearly miss the vehicle enter and exit animations. Same thing it was very exciting to see if I can get out of the vehicle in time. It was realistic and immersive. I get it that people (with ADD for example) don’t like it because everything has to be fast for them happening in split seconds. I think it just worsens kids ADD conditions. I see how they behave. They are raging when things not go in split seconds. Sorry if it was off topic a bit.
