I figured as much I was just looking for clarification from EA/Dice to calm other's nerves 😉

@Ironhead841ye nothing will change on support, only all the others specialists get bufffed with 1+ Gadget. This is why the patch is a nerf for support. To be fair the repair tool is trash tier outside of Condor/Hind repairs, it won't be much of a buff for the engineer class.
In theory it's great, but in practice it's terrible. A wounded tank is almost always better running for cover than sitting exposed getting repaired. And if a tanker makes it to cover there's little need for a repair guy.
Repair tool needs a massive offensive buff to make it more interesting.

Hell, most people are already running Mackay or Sundance so I just don't think it's going to have the apocalyptic impact that you seem think it will, time will tell, I guess.

why bother? the moment that update goes in everyone who wants to play in a somewhat competent manner is going to play McKay with armor plates....
infinite healing on top of 20% more HP?everything else will just be players LARPING as cannon fodder

@X-Sunslayer-XHave to agree here, Mackay with selfhealing and armorplates makes him even more stronger against infantry then he allready is.
He will be by far the strongest specialist as soon as the patch drops.
Either they change the assault class Gadget to something else or you will only see mackays the following weeks.atleast he can’t throw ammo for himself anymore so he will run out of ammo eventually
