Bug? AA missiles locked on jets 800m above

I had the same issue, I could be stalling due reaching height ceiling and still get locked on from ground, but it doesn't seem consistent tho
If I'm parachuting down from a high altitude transport I'll sometimes SOFLAM on my way down.
That may create the appearance some unusual lock behavior. Someone with a FXM could likely do the same. This could possibly explain some of the unexpected locks.
Though the video shows something else going on. I believe I've experienced it a few times operating the SOFLAM. In 20hr+ of SOFLAM'ing I recall a dozen or so cases where I locked onto a target beyond the supposed 450m+ range. Very rare in my experience. No idea on what triggers it or how to recreate it.
I've also experienced the opposite problem. I can have a clear line of sight on a vehicle (no flares) well inside the range, but it will refuse to lock
