Bugs and Oddities

It's been on my mind for a while now and I didn't want to start a thread for each individual bug and oddity. I have submitted bug reports, but they're still either in the game or I haven't recieved any feedback on them.

So here's the list:

Bug - When throwing a proxy nade, you get put into the call-in menu for vehicles. Happens EVERY SINGLE GAME for months now.

Bug - When switching from First person to Third in a tank, you'll be zoomed in instead of being the normal view. Sometimes it'll act like a toggle zoom. This happens all the time and every single game without ever holding down mouse 2.

Oddity - After throwing an Ammo box out, you go back to your primary weapon instead of going back to your sidearm that was selected.

Oddity - Vaulting. I made a thread for this, but just to make this more visible because it really does effect how smooth the game is. Vaulting is VERY inconsistent. Sometimes you climb up something, sometimes you throw yourself 10 feet past it. It doesn't work in the current state. You can get different result on the same object. Personally, I think vaulting should just be removed, and instead you should only be able to climb things. If you wanted to "vault" then you'd simply jump off the top of something.

That's all I can think of for now. I should have been writing them down because I'm sure I missed a few. If you got any, leave a comment and I'll add it to the list?

I havent seen that once and ive thrown thousands of the things if you mean sensor balls. What platform are you on?

I’m 100% sure it’s a bug. It’s bound only to my mouse forward (side) button. The call-in is bound to ‘B’. No way of hitting the wrong keys or them together. It’s instantly after I throw the proxy, the menu pops up.
Someone else on the forums was having the same exact issue. I submitted a bug report for this as well, I believe.

I'm not trying to be argumentative with you, but it sounds like it's a mapping issue to be honest not a "bug" per se.
While using the default "G" key for grenades, I have NEVER had that happen.

@RaginSam Yah man, I think that’s a mapping issue. I’d look at all the other mapped keys and look for a duplicate, check the submenus too. Also look to see if it could be a controller mapped button, in this game you never know. I’ve done far worse when mapping keys lol.

Xbox Series X new glitches:
Proximity grenades - when switching grenades (d-pad right) and then pulling right trigger when trying to throw a proximity grenade, it will start the throw animations and switch back to my primary weapon before the grenade releases my hand. I have to switch back to grenade and throw a second time for it to work. Completely new glitch.
Stealth Helis - After locking on to other air vehicles, especially the tiny night bird, the rocket will sound as if it launched, plus it takes away a rocket as if it launched, and yet no rocket shows up on my screen as launched and thus nothing hits the locked air vehicle target. A second rocket does the same thing. I've noticed I have to keep locked on for 2-3 seconds before firing for a rocket to actually launch and hit the air vehicles, as if the game needs more time to confirm the lock-on.
Stealth Helis - T28 tank main round now somehow track helis. Got one video of being taken down by T28 when their shell missed by 20 feet mid-air. Got another video of getting hit by the new tank on Spearhead map on the COMPLETE opposite side of the building, the shell somehow tracked around the building 180 degree. ALAT was 50ms, my LAT was 50ms..something seems broken with the hit box and/or prediction software when it comes to tank shells and helicopters...see below pics:

The shell that missed on my screen below hit me a half second later from a T28 tank:
Spearhead Map - Xbox Series X screen tears and rips in white patterns at times, to the point I had to back out twice. This is new as other maps do not tear, I've only seen these issues at launch when BF 2042 would sometimes hard lock my Xbox Series X. That said, the map is crazy detailed and looks amazing...

Armor Plating - when adding an armor plate while in secondary weapon mode, the game auto switches me back to primary weapon after the body armor plate animation. It gets me killed alot as it switches me from sidearm back to sniper rifle in the middle of a heated battle after trying to armor back up. Probably the worst glitch I've encountered in terms of ruining a good gun battle, and not something I've seen before Season 3...
Portal Listings broken in many way for Xbox Series X:
When switching to "Followed" server list, it shows up for half a second then goes back to "ALL" servers. Also switching between game mode categories does not work anymore, all servers are shown in all categories. Also it now auto-faults to hiding full servers, and you have to switch it back in search every time you refresh as it does not remember settings. Also it still puts you in the wrong selected server at times. And if you back out of a server, it sometimes simply locks the Xbox Series X up completely with a black screen and you have to hard boot the Series X. "Portal" and Xbox Series X don't get along very well...👿
I have videos and in them I have net stats always on, with network issue top bar that only turns on when network issues occur. At no time did I show a network issues with the new glitches. All glitches began after Season 3 launch. Everything else seems to be running smoothly as I play all games modes in official and portal...

@Ironhead841 Sorry if I came across that way. I was just trying to be clear that it's not a binding issue. I've gone through the key binds several times at this point because it's really annoying and has been a very persistent problem for me.

I'll go through it again and double check, but those binds have no way of being shared. I don't use any software with my keyboard or mouse.

Spotting is 'Q'
Call-In is 'B'
Nade is 'Mouse Forward'

Games never assign side buttons automatically either. It's not grenades in general, it's proximity nades specifically.
