No leave jeep stuff as it is, it's part of the weekly challenge is the only reason it seems so overwhelming right now.
It's not the weekly. It's been like this for a while. That's the only gadget people use for easy kills
That hasn't been my experience, I dunno what to tell ya bubba. Maybe adjust your playstyle so it doesn't happen as often?

Agreed.
I mean sure, I die from people throwing C5, but no more often than anything else. I also don't just run into the middle of large groups though either...

Everything that kills you isnt overpowered nor does it need a nerf. There is nothing wrong with c5
Didnt say everything that kills me is overpowered. Only things I think are op are C5, K30, BSV-M and some of the vehicles which quite a lot of people agree with those being overpowered. When I'm getting killed more by C5 than any other weapon in the game, that's a problem in my opinion. I've seen the kill feed be nothing but C5 kills quite a few times.
The problem lies in its throwing range and general effectiveness as a close range grenade. That's not what C5 should be for. It should be high risk high reward anti-vehicle gadget, not a room cleaner. Reducing its throwing range and maybe increasing the delay between throwing and being able to detonate wouldn't hurt its effectiveness as jeep stuff or destroying unsuspecting vehicles. Right now its reminding me of the BF2 days of bunnyhopping C4 dudes in 24/7 Strike at Karkand servers.
- @Camocheese Back when you could frisbee C4 with a jump as you throw it? That was a little over the top but you can’t throw C5 like that so really it seems fine as it is. Since it takes 3 to kill a tank, a player needs to be able to carry three. While I’m not convinced it needs a nerf at all, if it did maybe just to splash damage.
- @ATFGunr I have no issues with the amount you can carry. I think it's fine that you can carry enough to destroy a tank, that's how it should be in fact. But right now you can kinda you use C5 like C4 is used in Call of Duty which is not how it should be. You can throw one around the corner and easily blow up infantry that way. And since you can throw them so fast you can easily follow up a hitmarker with another C5 to finish them off if one wasn't enough. When it comes to C5 against infantry it should only really work in some limited situations like creating traps or destroying a wall. Not throwing them around corners and getting multikills for days.
