This has exacerbated with the latest update.
Can Dice store it in the proper location,i.e. AppData? This should be fixed
Agreed, this is a major problem.
Cache data and other information (e.g. crashdumps) should NOT be placed in Documents. This data should really be going somewhere else.
Simply launching the game creates over 1000 items that onedrive then tries to sync. This is kinda dumb.
I do however believe that PROFSAVE & screenshots should be going into Documents.

Yeah this is a real headache. I'm basically having to pause/unpause my OneDrive constantly to play BF2042, then having to allow for the upload afterwards, which invariably goes at a snail's pace due to OneDrive's abysmal throttling (yes, even when uncapped).
Could we please get some word on this. Seems such an utterly pointless inconvenience.
