Found no reason to have OneDrive, so uninstalled it. Now no more synching during games.
DICE need to remove the cache folder from the My Documents folder and put it in the %appdata% folder where it belongs.

guys, literally - One Drive allows you to EXEMPT a folder, Google Drive allows you to EXEMPT a folder.... all these services allow you to EXEMPT a folder.
just EXEMPT the BF2042 Documents folder from One Drive, Google, whatever it may be Drive and move on.
Did any of yall even check your settings for "Folder Exemptions" or did you just need to be lazy and whine about something?- sk1lld3 years agoLegend

@AOD_CapStar362 Please show the steps on where to do this. You talk a lot for someone who has no knowledge on the subject. You cannot exempt the folder from onedrive.
- AOD_CapStar3623 years agoSeasoned Ace@TOPHlMUS i dont use One Drive, never have, but i DO run Google Drive, and yes, you absolutely can exempt it.

You can exempt the entire documents folder, but that defeats the purpose of using the cloud. Also notice the bottom sentence and smug attitude. We all know you can exempt the entire documents folder. You provided zero solutions and really acted like you did something.
- AOD_CapStar3623 years agoSeasoned Ace@TOPHlMUS okay buddy, sure. that's why my google drive does NOT have my BF2042 folder in, but several other folders from the same parent folder. and keeps them in sync.
Im done conversing with you. One Drive sucks anyways, cant stand it. G-Drive it WILL exempt it individually.
- AOD_CapStar3623 years agoSeasoned Ace@sk1lld and where do you think %APPDATA% resides ? 😉

Not in My Documents.

its no longer called that, the point being made here. the fact that one drive looks at the entire tree of - C:\users\name folder and since %APPDATA% resides on that folder, simply exempt the users folder from One Drive.
