Forum Discussion
Hey folks, we've removed a number of posts in an attempt to keep the thread on-topic and open.
Please keep the discussion respectful and focused on the topic at hand rather than insulting other users so we can keep this conversation productive and available, thanks all.
Thx. After that post came in last night I didn't chime in with "Don't feed the trolls" as I should have! Haha.
Per the thread title, Re: Cache being saved to documents, which gets synced by Onedrive...
So for now, per Microsoft, there is no way to set exceptions on specific folders within OneDrive on installations of OneDrive (Not Google Drive). There are ways to exempt certain file types (mentioned within this thread) which has been the closest I've been able to get it to being the least impactful on performance, when I forget to turn OneDrive off before launching BF2042. This is the best we can do for now until EA/DICE changes the location of these files (doubt this will happen for the 2042 product, maybe on a future release this will be taken into consideration during early phases of development), or until Microsoft allows for more granular control of OneDrive (who knows if/when this may ever come to fruition).
In the meantime, I'll see you all on the battlefield. Let's go C5 some uncap camping TOR tanks, EH?! 😉
