I’m all for any type of campaign mode they have the maps the weapons some really great characters they just need a wee storyline of some sort.
Single player isn't my thing. And I don't consider it a particular strength of DICE either.
Hopefully whatever Ridgeline studios has in work will do the genre justice and scratch your itch.
For whatever budget they have left on BF2042 I'd prefer to see them spend that on polishing existing experience.
