Even engis are useless against tanks. The RPGs load to slow and you only have 3. BF4 had the squad perk that allowed extra explosive loadout. Mines went from 3 up to 6 and you could carry 9 rpgs up from 6.
In BF2042 the best way to take out tanks is with 3 x C5 charges. Its quicker than RPGs. Great for Assault class
Squad perks would be helpful definitely. I still think they need to bring back the grenade launcher ammo and allow AT grenades to be equipped by all classes. Maybe even have engineers have limited grenade launcher ammo since they get RPGs.
You can still run up to a vehicle, throw 3 AT mines and BOOM 🙂
