Can bots be enabled/disabled in BF2042?

I am not really new to the battlefield.. and I honestly prefer my game to be without Bots!

I can't say if the bots availability will be good or bad yet, but from the sounds of it, it seems a nice option to have, as long as it is an option!

Does anyone know if we can enable, disable bots? or choose servers with or without bots?

I generally use Europe region and even to this day the population is pretty healthy with enough servers and players in BF4 and BFV (even early in the morning on Mondays)

Just a question to see if this information is available, I could not find a thread that covers this 🙂

    As mentioned already, there's no in-depth information about the AI at the moment. However, as the info we do have mentions they'll be used for seeding servers, I wouldn't hang any hopes on us being able to deactivate them ourselves for the time being. Time will tell with this one though.

    Honestly, if we're forced to play with bots, I'm not buying the game. Owned every BF from BF2 onward (excluding hardline), but I have never played a online game where bots weren't either cannon fodder or laser accurate killers with super human eyesight, both of which are not fun in a competitive environment. 

    If they are optional, and I can play on servers without bots then that's fine, otherwise, they've lost at least 5 sales already just among my friends.

    @TrueRedslayer Yeah, we definitely need a Player vs Player mode without bots. I log online to play against human opponents.

    I'm pretty sure that's the point behind online gaming... otherwise we'd all still be playing offline with bots...
