Can PC players see through Smoke?
I’m on series X and I’m asking because I mainly always use smoke grenades and/or now the grenade launcher, and every time I do use it for cover or to evade danger I’m still being sniped or shot throu...

@OldSkoolzFinestThey can also use thermal scopes. They do not work very reliably, but when they work, you can see players through the smoke clearly. I can see that as quite plausible explanation and that such person was always a PC player was probably just a coincidence.
I can tell you Xbox players certainly can, since I keep getting instantly beaned in the head through dense smoke by them. Same player in fact kept tossing a smoke grenade and then just instantly knocking my head off.
@Anaghya you can't see through the smoke grenade. And through some of the smoke you can see, but even then not through all. Thermal vision disappears after about 15 meters if you are in smoke. It looks very weird.
- @pecmeserp Yes, thermal scopes works odd and limited way, but they can see through/into the smoke grenade's smoke (or at least were a week ago, I didn't use it since the last game patch).
Was shot through smoke several times yesterday when people threw it on themselves and to hide from me, then shoot me through it. (Mid range)
I couldn't see them even with thermal. Something is strange! Isn't the idea that thermal see through smoke?
