The new rail gun tank comes with aps, so I think every new tank will be gaining an aps system.given this, I think it’s about time it’s added to the base tanks who at the moment are simply inferior without, especially given that lis can simply make cover obselete and see you through walls, dealing the same amount of damage as a side on shot with the dumbfire launcher from any angle.

Active protection would be good, more options on the vehicles would be good in general.

Tank gameplay is going to feel very different in Season 3.
APS for tanks
Class restricted launchers
Buffed launchers
I wonder if the plan will be to simply mimic the BF4 tank balance.

I believe he also confirmed the new Active Threat Detection is also coming to MBTs.

Been reading all the forums and still no mention if tanks have APS in this update.
I guess I'll just have to load up the game tonight and see for myself.
I've read the the US RAMs APS is broken in that it will not stop RU AGMs/homing missiles so maybe they are working on fixing APS before giving it to MBTs?
