@59hushy6ywi8 Numbers are higher and more stable. In-game balance is miles ahead than it was before the class patch. No more stupid loadouts with Falcks running infinite HP Regen + Rocket launcher or Angel infinite Stinger camping all game in a bush. It's what the majority wanted, it's what we got. In it's "2042" form, but still very useable and much more balanced than what it used to be.

@UP_LordPlumber Higher? Lol.
Yeah I guess it's better to tell players to go have fun playing something else. Artificial restrictions hold the game back. This 'majority' was only doing it to hurt EA for some reason.

And go back to the nightmare that was Dozer+Spawn Beacon? Or Irish+SOFLAM?
No thanks!

I don't think this will ever happen. Classes are here to stay.
I would move on if BF2042 is not your kind of game.
- 2 years ago@sk1lld So they're happy watching the player totals fall?
It WAS my kind of game. I wanted it to be like BF3 and 4 since 1/5 were awful. I waited the whole time, finally got 2042, and they took away all that was good.

There were 3-4 problematic specialist + gadget combos.
There were 100's of innocent specialist + gadget combos.
Instead of lobbying for a solution to the specific problems the community fixated on 'classes' to solve the problematic combos.
DICE listened - the community 'won'.
Sundance/MacKay+C5 still exist, but Rao + MedCrate doesn't.
