@QSeanRay I though console player could chat if they have a keyboard.
However for me non chat options need more focus such as -
1) Comms rose with more option like general call outs, specific player(crosshair on player) interact or different option in vehicle.
2) Hand signals. Such as wave to a player you just asked Ammo from or signal stop.
3) Better spotting such as 3D passed to nearby players not just squad.
4) More shout outs. BF1 had them.

I like talking dirty to my squad in voice chat.

would be nice to be able to talk to other close by teamates right?
especially since squads seem to be only 4 in 2042

These are all good options, but I think voice comms are just more ubiquitous
Anyone in the playtest, please give feedback on the voice options!!

FYI the technical playtest is kept behind strict NDA, so nothing should come out from that. Suggest we do not try and tempt any of our fellow gamer friends either to leak anything from it.
