@InS_HypnoI agree the scatter grenades are dumb.
And the 'netcode' is so bad, that playing CQC is not really working. You get insta-killed, die behind cover/walls, hits don't register etc, all the time and it is just too frustrating.

The 2042 game imo is pretty much trash, just gone from 2042 to bf4 and wow playing battlefield 4 was like playing a new game compared to it and much more enjoyable.
Im not hating on 2042 but it is trash.. everything about it.. SUCKS! I think if they released at least one good map then it would be more enjoyable.
- Twordy4 years agoSeasoned Ace@BFI-KinJO187 Oh man. Once I wrote on the forum that the maps from previous BFs exported to 2042... stood for a slaughterhouse concept.
Now I truly regret not getting one. I`m playing Infantry Conquest Only. Maps from BF BC2 are my jam on 100% or from 1942 and 3. 64 players in Conquest is more than enough with detailed maps with destruction.
Condor and Hind are simply OP, new attack choppers are over maneuverable, physics of the tank is as fascinating as pushing a shopping cart full of cardboard.
So yeah. Please DICE bring Metro, Grand Bazaar, Locker, and Karkand to the next Battlefield for a max of 64 players - this could be an instant banger. No need for 128 players in Conquest with enormous distances on every single map! BC2 maps are way more fun to play than anything in 2042.
Please study the design of the maps from previous BFs, assets on the map, character movement, division of roles as classes, and commander mode. Do not focus on chasing so-called "trends" while dropping/removing old mechanics or whatever EA/DICE calls features.
