Like the title says, this game is horrifically unbalanced when it comes to teams. 90% of the time, and that is not an exaggeration, I'm being lumped into a team that barely knows how to function. The bots do more than these players, including better teamplay, attacking and defending, and engaging vehicles. Meanwhile, the enemy team is packed full of players who know exactly what to do in every scenario regardless of their ranking. Enemy vehicle roaming around, aircraft flying about? It'll do so unopposed. Spawn a/or on a vehicle/aircraft and you will be immediately engaged by every form of anti-vehicle weapon in existence. Medics running over your body, sitting two feet away. Enemy medics rezzing everybody in sight instantly. Attackers act like defenders and then on defence, don't defend. Don't respond to flag captures. Throw in the usual assortment of questionable players who likewise get lumped into the enemy team more often than not and it results in loss after loss in matches that can run into streaks of 12 or more. Tell your team to start doing something and all you get are a bunch of trolls who don't even care for what they're playing. Match right there, enemy tanker parks on the hill near the objective, shoots at their leisure. Not a single attempt to fire rockets at it. Meanwhile I'm having rockets fired at my Wildcat, and have people coming out of their area with C5 trying to destroy me. People just do their stupid, trolling responses about you not having many kills at that point as if that makes your point illegitimate. Literally cannot engage enemy infantry with a tank parked up waiting for me.

@Moab23 Sorry bubba, but that is just the nature of pub gaming.It was the biggest reason I got into clan/platoon gaming and paying for our servers with previous Battlefield titles. I knew a large part of my team would be on the same page and could communicate with one another via TeamSpeak or Discord and it was a ton of fun joking and laughing about stupid stuff or harassing the hell out of each other.I don't know how you expect EA/Dice to distribute "skilled" players to "even" the teams other than SBMM and that's a hard NO for me personally.Best you can do with the way EA/Dice has opted to use MM in this title is try and find a handful of friends to play with, squad up, create a "party" in-game and jump on Discord or TeamSpeak together, even if ya don't win all the time it's still a lot more fun than running solo.

@Moab23 Dude you need to get help brother, seriously.You're posts are always about how this game and its players are somehow conspiring against you and only YOU..Its the most bizarre sorta stuff I've ever seen on here, like Alex Jones levels of conspiracy theory, really.I might humbly suggest playing another game, perhaps a single player title so "THEY" (whoever you think "THEY" are) can't ruin the experience for you.

@Moab23 Ok skippy, lets just go ahead and flesh this out then.You and only YOU, are aware of this top-secret cabal that everyone else is "oblivious" to that is conspiring to hack/cheat YOU, assign hit squads to hunt YOU down, to stack teams so that YOU lose matches, is that what you are actually proposing?Are "they" spying on you through your microwave too? Have they found a way to bypass your tinfoil helmet as well?Seriously man, get help.

@Moab23 I'm not the one coming onto this forum and proposing that everybody is cheat/hacking, following me into different matches to hunt me down, stacking the teams against me to make lose.I don't know if you're actually lying or if your perception of reality is just that tenuous, I'd say it's probably 50/50 chance either way. As to leaving "your" thread, it's a public forum and if you don't want any pushback on your whack-a-doodle theories and "experiences" don't post them in public?Either way I am done, good luck gaming with the "lizard people" until the mothership comes back for you.

Frankly I'm tired of hearing console players bitching about it.As to the cheating thing I play on the West Coast of the U.S. I've been playing regularly since launch, and I can maybe count on one hand the number of players I have seen that I thought MIGHT be cheating but with the screwy hitreg/net code problems this game has it's hard to definitively say anyone is using any cheats.In my personal opinion it's not an issue, maybe I am just lucky, but I don't think that's it.

Sorry bubba, but that is just the nature of pub gaming.

@Ironhead841 Except this wasn't nearly as bad an issue in previous titles. In this game it is utterly atrocious teamplay, and basically, one team has a collective IQ lower than my ping. I would legitimately prefer to have bots on my team, because they would at least do more than sit back and toss grenades.

I don't know what to tell ya brother, how EXACTLY would you like EA/Dice to "fix it"?
I've been playing Battlefield since the original BF1942, and I can assure you public servers with random players have ALWAYS been like that, ALWAYS.
As I said that is the primary reason I opted for joining a platoon or clan and happily contributing to paying for our own server and administrating it.
Unfortunately, EA/Dice in their infinite wisdom, have opted to remove this option for whatever reason so we are all consigned to random pubs playing on public servers and all the negative effects that come from that.
It's not just you, trust me. For better or worse, we're all stuck with same experience.

@Ironhead841 They can turn off crossplay, for one. PC vs PC is night and day experience compared with crossplay. Consoles drag the entire server performance down and make just trying to hit 20 kills an absolute slogging chore, whereas PC only I can easily go 35-40 average in a match. The game also needs an actual anti-cheat, not something pretending to be one that does absolutely nothing to the blatant cheaters in this game.

Sixteen straight match losses. Not a single win today. Breezed through one round and then my team completely crapped out at the end and turned into a bunch of idiots who I hazard to guess couldn't tie their shoelaces. SIXTEEN games, and I'm stuck with the same calibre of player. That feels less like random chance and more like a bloody setup.

I agree, I don't believe that it is prevalent in BF2042, as you say it is more than likely caused by the hit reg / net code issues.

Here's another issue. Lot of new players because of the free weekend and such, yeah? Okay. So how is it all the new players on my team behave like new players, and we lose badly, yet the enemy team is also full of new, low rank players and yet they're playing like experienced players. In the few match wins I've had today, the ticket difference was about 80 in all three. Enemy teams are consistently winning matches by 200-300 points. They're creaming us. Not only that, every time I have a tank, EVERY single enemy player fires a rocket, Lis rocket, anti-armour grenade, or comes at it with C5. It is beyond absurd how many players rush my vehicles with these weapons. Enemy vehicles, meanwhile, are sauntering around completely unopposed. It really is getting a point of exasperation as to why my team's are so utterly atrocious and the enemy team does everything right.
