Because they don't know game design. They are rookies and make bad decisions. DICE should be considered a indie studio considering all the choices they made. Almost all original DICE talent moved to Embark Studios and some to other studios like Sharkmob. DICE should switch franchise because its not "their" game anymore. Battlefield is just a name of a previous game, made by other talent, its not a franchise anymore because its being developed by other talent with other opinions. You see long time producer Aleksander Grondal recently quit DICE and moved over to Embark Studios and looking at his recent Tweets, seems like he like many others, found himself lonely over at DICE and moved along with his friends to new studios.
