Can you please add METRO map from bf4?
Hi dear staff! I was talking with my discord forum friends and we made a polls. 100% af my bf2042 friends would like to see and play to METRO map from bf4. Can u think to an implementation in the fut...

If they bring Operation Metro to BF2042 (and that's a BIG if) it will most likely be the BF3 version as that "Era" is already in Portal.
This conversation is moot either way, if any new maps were coming to Portal, I am pretty sure we would have heard about it by now.
I strongly suspect that any future Portal content will possibly be some new vehicles or weapons and that's it.
I really want to be wrong about all this, because I would love to see Portal take off but I betcha I'm not.
@Ironhead841 It's truly a waste of such potential.
Just the fact that previous Battlefields still have the dedicated player bases that they do shows they really missed an opportunity with Portal, they could have scooped a lot of those players if it had been implemented properly. I mean BF1942 still has a few hundred players active playing daily and that game is 20 years old.
And BFV and BF1 still regularly outperform BF2042 on Steam-charts, hell BF1 has almost 52,000 players right now compared to 5,400 or so for BF2042!

Those player stats speak volumes of just how badly the decisions they made with BF2042 has backfired. ☹️
Wasn’t BF3 32 players? That’s why metro kind of worked. 64 metro was terrible.

BF1 just was 80%+ off on steam IIRC so would explain the huge bump in player numbers. But either way, the numbers that get regularly posted for BF1+V are more than what 2042 has outside of major patch dates.
But absolutely agreed. There was huge potential to consistently have new maps added to main 2042 and "old" maps added to Portal+2042 but that ball was completely dropped.
