I've purchased both series since the beginning, typically preorders--I get something from CoD and something else from Battlefield.
In terms of what each series has been for me in the past, this CoD beta delivers as it typically does and is stretching itself to offer more while 2042 pretty much failed at maintaining the quality I had been used to.
I'll continue to preorder CoD but definitely won't do that for the Battlefield series.
"- Gun-play: Very solid, recoil feedback a bit much but at least all the scopes are functional and varied. In BF2042 it feels like you're gimping yourself using anything other than fusion holo and the impact attachments make seems inadequate."
This is one of the main features I look for in these games. CoD has handled it very well while I still feel 2042 failed miserably.
Am I still playing 2042? Yup, mainly because I paid full price for it. Don't get me wrong, there are somethings I like about 2042 but there is still so much wrong with it, it feels like a chore to play. I shouldn't feel this way about the game after playing it this long.

They added Ground War to the playlist today. Not as large scale as AOW but you can actually move around in the transport choppers. Which I thought was cool.

MW2?
My god, there's been so many CoD games that we ran out of numbers and had to start over.
