Can't see where I am on the Big Map

I push the M button on my keyboard and the Big Map comes up but I have no idea where I am on the map. It shows me as a grey arrow on the map but it's like searching for Waldo trying to find the arrow.

Why is the most important player on the map (me) the hardest to find and why can't I be a bright pink arrow that's easy to find instead?

Agree'd. The only way I can find myself quickly half the time is by constantly moving in a straight line with the map up.
Make us stand out..bright pink, bright yellow, bright green, something.....make the color customisable in the minimap or custom color section.

@OskooI_007 Worst map ever. It is virtually impossible to locate yourself and not having the ability to drill down to sector level (and more detail) is frustrating.
