Capturing Objectives
Can we get the return of flag poles were the flag goes up and down depending on stage of capture. I would like it to be visible from a distance. If defenders are going to spawn a significant dista...
All agreed @DingoKillr ,
Now I do not know how this will be animated/visible to the players on the ground in BF2042, as I understand that in this next game we will have like a capture zone, inside which we have several capture points. And it's not until we have captured and control all the capture points within a zone, before the zone is conquered and it changes allegiance and you start to drain tickets away from the enemy team. And across the full map, we have several of these zones. So will we have a flag for each of these capture points and how will we see the overview of the full zone and status of each capture point?
I tend to recall from one of the reveal trailers that at spawn we can actually see on the map the number of friendlies and enemies in a given spawn location, so at least that would help with the strategic decision. And then we need the capture change time to be more moderate, despite it can be nail biting at times to be only friendly at an enemy flag point and it seems to take forever to get that bloody flag raised so more friendlies can spawn in. :o)

@CyberDymeit could be done like capture points with team colour lamp post or flags.
Then the faction flag for the zone. This way you could see the stage of each zone in game.
As for the deploy map you could have 3 or 4 circles above a faction flag for a zone. Each circle shows the progress on a capture point.
Yep, that is what I mean a single player does take time risk/reward. We reward a whole squad for the team play of a single squad player capping flags with others. We should be looking at rewarding squads for actual team play, not for play that focus on getting squad call-ins fastest and looks like team play.
You have my vote @DingoKillr , I like it !!
