Caspian border map on BF3,BF4. Why not Battlefield 2042 too

    My bet is that they might bring it down the line as they did in BF4 and BFV. They dont want to only appeal to Veterans, they are also looking to expand further, showing new stuff with some of the old moments is better for PR.

@DingoKillr With the size of the new maps (around 5km², or so) DICE could very easily implement some of the maps from the past 15 or so years into the new ones seamlessly and still have a ton of room left over for brand new scenarios. They don't even have to be whole recreations either, just reimagined objectives from other games carefully crafted into the new maps.

@ZombieP1ow every map that has been used for a newer BF is remade. It is easier quicker to make a new map.

It looks like we are going to have a bigger Caspian style map.

    @DingoKillr Is that the Egyptian map you're thinking off?

    The wall between the 2 zones put me in mind of Caspian to be honest.

      @Trokey66 yes. It looks Caspianish not sure how hilly it is.
