I think the March patch will have this feature. Too bad it’s going to be a bit late with a dwindling community and all. Would have been nice to play n chat with new and seasoned players when the game was just released.
Plus, we’ve all learned to work around it already….. 🙂
Also, you figure with the lack of persistence servers you’ll still loose communication once the game ends. Just need to communicate a friend request before the game concludes. But still will be nice to have squad comms back.
But Proximity Chat would be awesome! We can still dream....
