Yesterday, I played a game of Breakthrough and we were doing great with a big advantage before attacking the last two objectives. But then, a cheater on the other team blatantly started using dirty tactics, killing over 120 players. We were so close to winning, but it was really disheartening for us. We just want fair play instead of players ruining the game for everyone. DICE needs to do something and stop letting cheaters make a mockery of the Battlefield. It's really messed up and has made me lose interest in playing further.

@CyberNine Unfortunately your complaints isn't going to matter. They are going to tell you "If you suspect a player of cheating, please use the in game report system"

I don't know about the head shots but the head hitbox in this game seems pretty large, that said, being killed around corners is a classic hit registration issues. You just may be seeing net code issues present in this game.

@CyberNine We can’t say there are zero cheaters. I have over 1000 hours (I gotta get a life) and have seen a small handful in North American servers. I understand in other regions on can be worse. I played V, I’ve seen what a hacker can do as V is rampant with them. Maybe not now, but Doce never had an anti cheat in V and it showed. I’ve ghosted them in 3 and 4 as well, and the number is very small. The network code has been so bad, and IMO it’s bad again after the last patch, it’s tough to figure out a hack versus high ping. They need to fix the game first, then we can focus on cheaters. I’ve reported a few, no idea of they were for sure or if Dice took action. It would be great if we could see results from Dice, like “we investigated and determined…” just something so we know they’re checking.

@CyberNine A lot of good players can hit headshots from 200m away. And network issues can make it seem like you're killed while rounding a corner. I don't think you are seeing cheaters I think you're seeing skilled players

I dont understand these players who pretend that this game dose not have cheaters!

Cheaters are taking away my interest in playing further

@ZRuff46whenever I come across a cheater, I always report them, but I never receive any feedback. In fact, many cheaters' names are well-known among players .what I meant is that they are still active in our game.

@CyberNine you said they used "dirty tactics" but that they were cheating? How were they cheating? Was it an aimbot or some sort of wallhack?

I've only seen one actual cheater that was snapping their aim at players from 100s of meters away and getting headshots over and over. And that's in 600 hours of play.

@SpudBug What I mean is that he's cheating, our team is all discussing how he's been headshotting us from 200 meters away multiple times, and almost everyone has reported the cheater. Also, in another game, I was even taken down by a magic bullet that went through the wall

with what weapon? what accessories on the weapon?

@TANGO_TX Some are not pretending. In my 500+ hours, I have seen only 1 blatant cheater who got banned quite hastily after getting 20+ reports from my team.

Other than that I think 2042 is one of the most well-guarded games in terms of cheating.

Maybe if you play in Asia region then it would be a bigger issue, but EU and NA regions are very clean

Blatant cheaters have never been the problem. Everyone knows they are doing it. They might ruin a lobby or two here and there. But they aren't masquerading as high-skill.
