Cheating Complaint (BF2042)

We have been facing the same three cheaters for almost four months now.

I can provide video evidence, we have witnesses and people who are also in their Discord, discussing their use of cheats.

Reporting cheaters does absolutely nothing.

We report these parasites each time we find them, but for four months they are still around.

And I am not talking about insane good players like [Removed], I am talking about people with stats of KD below 1 suddendly making full headshots with a PKP.

Let's even use [Removed] as a reference since people like to say a lot he is cheating. The guy ([Removed]) has a 9.3% HS (Headshot) rate with his PP-29, his main gun. The guys I am talking about have a 65.4% HS rate with the AK-24 and a 61.2% HS rate with the M240B.

[Removed] has a KD of 7.84, these cheaters barely have a KD of 1.

And these cheaters use the same account, by the way. It’s not like they are getting banned and making new accounts. No, they are free to cheat their way daily, for four months as far as I know, maybe even longer. Reporting them by almost five players each time we face them does nothing.

At this point, I don’t expect them to ever be banned. We just search for another lobby now. But I am here asking why. Is this encouraging players to stop trying to learn and improve and just get cheats? Since obviously, you can use cheats for months without any kind of sanction, punishment, or consequence from EA or DICE?

All i can say is...
Whilst the anticheat is slow off the mark
Just do your in game reporting AND encourage others to do so in game chat, the more reports in game seem to trigger a faster response for a ban.
example-Over friday/saturday just gone we had the same user-going 70/80 with 1/2 deaths just doing h/shots with the desert eagle, it took two days but they got a ban how long for god knows, even better when they got booted midmatch.

Just do your in game reporting AND encourage others to do so in game chat, the more reports in game seem to trigger a faster response for a ban.

If cheaters aren't banned it means the anti-cheat software can't detect them cheating.
I don't believe EA issues bans based on video evidence since it can be deep faked.

@OskooI_007 I heard this too. It sounds like a bad EA-excuse though. It takes time to check videos and EA likely just prefers not having to deal with it.

I at least have never ever heard of anyone who has bothered to make a deep fake video in an attempt to get someone banned in a video game, I mean, come on…!

@OskooI_007 I doubt deep faking is any real issue. I just believe that all reports made outside of a match are just discarded.
Reports made during a match may at least provide a little bit of context.
So over the years I got two emails that someone was taken responsible and got banned. If I had to guess that is less than 1% of my reports.
So I may be wrong, one and then, but I doubt that 99% of my I reports are false positives.

That there are cheaters who played for months without consequence is no more remarkable than many of these youtubers, who cheat to increase their subscribers.
Many of these have played for years without being banned, and the bigger they are, the less the risk seems to be in BF of being banned, unlike, for example, COD, where many have lost their accounts, but others side, COD can afford to ban and get rid of unnecessary players.
I watched a BF1 video, it was a tuber who only played with a pistol for a whole match. It was the first time I saw someone who probably had a pedal or button connected to the aimbot. He missed the first bullets and as he was about to die, his aimbot clearly snapped to the head.
Many of these also run around as if they see where everyone is standing, and when giving instructions to others, they usually say out loud, look at the mini map, mini map.
But on many videos you can clearly see that their pupils never go down to their own mini map.

Some people actually get drunk or work themselves up and kill other people literally they chop them up and throw them in rivers. Where is creating a deep fake thing compared to that? Easy Peezy. Lol

I think the anti-cheat works very well. I haven't noticed any cheaters in my 2050 hours of play.
Instead, I have made the following observations. When I shoot at someone, it looks normal. If someone shoots at me, I always die immediately. From the opponent's perspective, he is immediately dead when I shoot at him and when he shoots at me, it looks normal to him.
The servers are delayed. In the worst case, I'm already dead to the enemy when the first bullet just hits me. You really notice this in sniper duels. You want to move, but you can't because you're already dead. Or you're under fire, slip behind an object and die in front of it. You drive your vehicle into another vehicle and start teleporting back and forth. etc...
The long delay results from server calculations, long distances between the few players, W-Lan.
As a pc player, I notice this particularly strongly when I have activated crossplay. To minimise the cheating experience, I have always deactivated crossplay.
What players can do: Deactivate crossplay and do not use wifi
What EA/Dice can do: Reduce the number of players needed to start a match to reach multiple servers with shorter distances to players. Match players by ping.
