Cheating Parties

So tonight I encountered something for the first time. An entire little group of cheaters working together. One of them I've seen before, last year, actually. Player auto spawns into a helicopter and is then impossible to take out. Takes damage way beyond possible; never overheats their guns despite long, long firing stretches; flares constantly; finds everything and hits it with pinpoint accuracy using the miniguns. When I joined they were topping the server as always, at this point with 64 kills and 0 deaths. Pointed them out to other players, and a select few instantly start defending them. Like the little minion defenders you see a lot of hackers have.

Turns out, the reason they're defending them is because in each match, regardless of team mix ups, all of these players (about 7 of them) are on the same team each time. Main one is always in the Nightbird, the rest always in the Hind. The Hind gunner is a blatant wallhacker, racking up over 192 kills in the first round and 110 in the second. In a match where players outnumber bots and are constantly fighting each other, for this player to even find that many targets to rack up is what instantly raises eyebrows (and I mean they're getting these numbers in like 15 minutes of gameplay). They were also killing in two grenade hits, while the minigunners were getting instant hits and kills. Constantly flaring, lock ons taking ages. Each round these guys are in, we get trounced, because they just hover around two flags and cannot be shot down. Hind gunner has played the game over a hundred hours less than me, yet is over twenty ranks higher and has substantially more kills, yet less overall accumulated damage. The Nightbird pilot is four ranks above me, yet has 39,000 more kills and only twenty hours more time. This really just doesn't smell right at all.

The Hind once again appears to be overpowered, but its obvious this group was cheating as well. At one point they were basically flying in perfect formation and chasing after my F-35, which could not outrun them. The Nightbird pilot would fire at you from extreme range where you're basically not more than a dot to them. Its honestly disheartening when players who are very obviously cheating, or using things to enable them to get aircraft every time, are just not dealt with and allowed to continue spoiling matches. Each match with this group was just a boring, one-sided slog.

@Ga-Knomboe_Boy I've long noticed suspicious play starts picking up the later at night it gets. Its not completely absent during the day, but its much more prevalent at night. My working hypothesis is because that is when certain timezones are waking up and logging in.

Really sucks when you come across cheaters - especially ones that cooperate with others. Like, I enjoy playing against bots from time to time for an easier experience, but I don't see how having scripts and stuff that do everything is at all enjoyable.
Unfortunately there isn't a whole lot we can do on these forums other than request you send as much video/screenshot proof as you can to one of the mods/devs/EA Game Advisors so they can review it

@TTZ_Dipsy I feel ego is a big part of it. Trolling also seems to be an aspect of cheaters, especially if you have them on your team and you call them out. I've heard even some prominent Youtubers have been caught and banned for cheating in other titles before, and when you watch their gameplay in things like 2042, there is something questionable about how easy they seem to walk through any match they play. Like spotting people who really aren't even visible on their screen and taking them out with one or two shots. On that note, I've seen my fair share of suspicious players running TTV in their gamer tag, and I really do wonder if they're trying to fly under the radar with cheats just to gain more clout.
