clan tags and squad numbers

I play with a large clan and group of friends and have through most BF games. In BF2042 it is impossible, get thrown to separate servers after every match because of the console like matchmaking instead of staying on a dedicated server.
Only way to do it is play custom portal games however they disabled XP gain on these due to exploiters making it useless now.
DICE please, why have you taken away the ability in this game to play with more than 4 friends at a time and manage squads?
We have found a small workaround.
If you join 4 people in a party and load in, one player can then leave the party and people can join on them.
This only works for one round though until the stupid thing disbands the teams... so after waiting for spaces you only get like 5 mins playing...
