Clarification on XP/mastery progress vs bots?

yeah the same thing happened to me. i was wondering if i had missed that there was supposed to be a limit to how much you could progress in solo/co-op or if it was a side effect of the Portal decision.

not that i plan on ONLY playing the game solo, but i want to not have to worry about not progressing if i feel antisocial for a bit, you know.

To be honest this never should have happened in the first place. I really wish it didn't.

Before launch they kept saying there were systems in place that would prevent people from making xp farm servers while still allowing Full Progress for those playing with the AI who didn't change those settings and kept it close to the default settings.

What A Lie That Was !!!

If they really did do that from the beginning we wouldn't be having this problem at all !!!

Now they are punishing those who are playing legit because of those toxic ******* xp farming ******** ... I have had enough of all of them.

I am still 50/50 on whether or not to get a refund but if they don't change things for the better quickly than I probably will get that refund before it is too late.

It's OK, nobody can make legit mp experiences either, if this is all the capacity they have then they need to make it mp games only or portal will be a ghost town.

Oh.. this is a total bummer, i was planing on buying the game the uppcomming friday only to play solo with bots and co op with a friend, this saves me a lot of money, still COD doesnt have XP progression VS Bots and now this game have disabled it.. well done EA.. i was starting to belive in what you where doing was going in the right direction compared to COD developers.

I really hope EA enables it but modify it so you cant lower the difficulty on the bots, i wont buy it until its enabled again thats for sure.

It's been turned off since they updated it Friday.  They also said this was a TEMPORARY change, and haven't said anything else about it since.  People have been blowing them up on twitter and other social media for it to return since they promised this feature.  They are now telling people to go on the forums for "feedback and request of changes". I think their planning on just sweeping this under the carpet, even though this was a promised part of the game.  We are being taken for a ride here.  Dont let them forget, we PAY them so they work for US! Dont let them silence us, keep the pressure on them on social media and here.  I personally bought this game for these features because they advertised it.  Now its FRAUD, the old bait and switch and they need to change it back or give refunds.

I thought it might be best to post in here for the BF players who are having issues with the xp/progression on Solo/Coop mode. As a long time player/fan of the franchise I was really excited about having a game mode where you could just chill and still progress in game instead of sweating it out on multiplayer.

I started a chat with EA support to report the issue (mainly to make myself feel heard) as I was surprised no information has been released regarding the state of whether this feature will be brought back in? As I know the developers did say back in June 2021 that PvE progression will be shared across all modes.

I've recently purchase Battlefield 2042 for 100 EURO and the main reason was for the Solo/Coop mode in All out Warfare as it was stated by EA developers back in June 2021 that progression will be carried across the PvE Solo mode to PvP multiplayer mode in AoW. I have noticed that some progression intially is tracked but when each vehicle/weapon reaches a stage of "Mastery" nothing is tracked from then on?

I do realise XP/progression was taken away due to XP farming on the Battlefield Portal, but as a seperate game mode such as Solo/coop why is this affected?

Could you kindly advise if this is a bug that is being worked on? Have other people reported this issue? will progression in solo/coop be brought back?

Well everyone is now farming XP in all out warfare via using Caspers drone and proxy nades. So locking XP progression from Portal make no sense anymore at all.
