Class system is absurd and should be reverted.

So much diversity in the loadouts you could use and specialist combinations, weapon combinations. What the hell was the point of this change? Now we simply are locked into 4 classes with so much less...

    After this last patch I haven't felt like playing as much. I was looking forward to the addition of Thermal sights and the "nerf" to the Nightbird, but both are more than underwhelming.

    The Thermal sights are neat, but I'm having a hard time with the 6x registering shots. It seems like they added more sway to the 4.5x and 6x sights, at least on the Rorsch MK4, which I have something like 14k kills with between two accounts for reference.

    With the 6x thermal scope, I can aim perfectly on someone while they're prone or completely standing still, but it won't register a hit a lot of times. I then switch back to my usual 4.5 sight, and then I'm hitting everything far more consistently.

    So not only did they make the Rorsch useless against Vehicles (with the previous patch), but it's more annoying to use than ever. It's one of the weapons that got me interested in playing more because how different it was from the other weapons. The snipers feel awful in this game. Bullet velocity and hit reg make it so hard to land shots with the regular sniper rifles, unless you have a $3,000 PC and a 16:9 240 hz monitor running flawlessly I guess.

    People are stilling going nuts with the Nightbird. The Super Hind and Condor are both near impossible to take down and they can heal faster than they take damage. Dice is completely incompetent when it comes to balancing Air Vehicles. I have absolutely no faith in them whatsoever being able to do so. Air vehicles in real life are fragile and anything that flies needs to be light, so it would never be able to take a lot of damage. Not saying Battlefield is grounded in reality, but its so far off that it's obnoxious.

    The Breakaway map is okay. I haven't played it much due to being in the Breakthrough play list and I can only tolerate a couple matches of it. It feels overly cluttered like most of the re-works and new map designs. It's not great for ground vehicles, but it's great for Helicopters, surprising. The textures, assets, and the overall look of the map is fantastic though. The art team is very talented. The layout isn't terrible, and I still don't have a feel for it, but like I said before, everything is getting squished together and cluttered. I think Breakaway was too big before with a ton of unusable space, but then they go to the other extreme in my opinion.

    Then to top all of that off, we get the Class system, which just doesn't feel like it belongs in the game. It's not game breaking, but it doesn't get me excited to play the game either. I've stuck with the 2042 since launch and have vehemently defended Battlefield as a franchise, but this new update feels like it's catering to those who gave up on the game early on and aren't going to return anyways.
