@AdamonicI’ve read they were added to enhance visibility, as when the game first released there was a lot of complaining about difficulty seeing players on both teams. They’re somewhat dim in game, but in a dark or smoke filled room it will give you some ability to see both friend and foe. Rather than work out proper contrasts, probably a giant effort to do, they gave us glow sticks. I think the image you shared is manipulated, they’re not that bright.
- 3 years ago@ATFGunr ahm you know that he is talking about the unreal brightness on these screens?
yes, they have increased the glowing some patches back but far from what is on these screens.- ATFGunr3 years agoLegend@CountSerosome of the comments were mentioning they didn’t know about the glow sticks, so I addressed that. I don’t know the name of the program that enhanced the images, if there is a program that you can run concurrently on PC that would enhance graphics like that I’ve never heard of it. I don’t think one exists. It would be like cheating, however would impact going from bright to dark places and have other negative impacts on game play. It’s just a manipulated image to stir up the interwebs with more BS. The game has enough legit problems that we don’t need made up ones.

He is not even talking about the glow sticks.
I am not stirring the pot. I want mine to look like that.
Here is the video, no manipulation, screenshots from the video.
