@Trokey66 I just wondered if we knew if you can purchase the pass with "Company Coins" or XP - or would be forced to pay with "Boins" or cash. They wound back a little on Boins in BFV, but thinking they may return with a vengeance

Do you suggest that "paid" Battle Pass is different content to that of the "free" Battle Pass, and that you get "more [content]" from it too?

If it transpires that "Battle Passes" are ye olde "BFV Special Assignments" but with a different name, I will laugh heartily at the money to be saved with 'Standard.' Likewise anyone recall the deluxe "BFV weekly airdrops" over the initial 20 weeks? 🎁

@QuvdReplicnt Smart! That's the way I'm heading too, albeit for pc. Excluding cosmetics, it has been made clear by Ripple that all versions will have access to the exactly the same equipment (weapons/gear) otherwise it becomes P2W, which BF2042 isn't. But that week's early play... 🤩

@LordVader666 Does the two-track approach work well with 'Paladins' and would you choose the same for BF2042?

You will get more Cosmetic Items from Paid Battle Pass. (Every Tier)

Free Battle Pass will have less rewards for every player. (Like ever 10 Tiers for example)

Free Battle Pass items will not be the paid ones. Only players WHO bought Battle Pass will get the "premium" items from Battle Pass.

@DJ_Englishman I haven’t seen anyone complain but then again I never hung out on their forums and given forum experience I’m sure someone is complaining <shrug> As I said if you pay for an edition with cold hard cash that has battle pass I’d expect/hope these cosmetics are limited to that pass and you’re unable to grind them for free. They’re only cosmetics and why do “people” (generalisation) expect them to be free if they aren’t paying for like other people. If you can’t live without a specific cosmetic pay for it. Full disclosure - I’ve ordered Gold mainly for early access but happy to have cosmetics as part of the deal. Anything game changing should be freely accessible (though you may have to grind for it on the free track) and this rant isn’t aimed at anyone specific and just replying as requested.
