On your end are they shooting you almost immediately after you taking cover? That could just be lag/bad netcode - this sort of thing has been around for years

Greetings. No, this wasn't the fact.
I was running inside a structure and hiding in a corner. An enemy, in this case a PlayStation player, shot me through hills and walls and through this structure from their home base spawn, killed me with a sniper by a one shot.
A "lag" or a "bad netcode" would not apply here in this case.
Also it was not a hardcore gameplay during the hardcore event, as any snipers would one shot players.
As mentioned, he also shot me across the map ..
