Completely official Portal Server

I've been building community servers since BF4.
We, the community, hope that if you build a portal server with the official template, you will be able to have the same experience points and the same weapon unlock as official matching.
With the current matching system, it is not possible for the community to meet together and use the official server.
Since BF3, community servers have played an important role in Battlefield multiplayer.
Community servers in the past have been able to attract high-level players in search of higher-level battles that cannot be experienced with auto-matching.
Low-level players also have the option of going to a community server with limited ranks, and community servers in the past have been diverse.
With current matching systems it is unclear and it is difficult for players to get the experience they want.
The portal server features great, but no one comes because you can't get the same experience points and the same weapon unlocks as official matching.
At least my community is denying the current portal server.
The community is not building an official community server for collusion. We just want to fight at the level we want.
I think the development team needs to relearn the history that Battlefield was able to grow with community servers.
And the development team should understand the difference between a community server and a private server.
The current portal server is just a private server. We wanted a community server where the community could get together and get the same experience as the official server.
If you plan to use only a private server as the portal server, make sure to add a setting that allows everyone to use all weapons.
Finally, I love Battlefield. I'm angry with the behavior and systems of development teams that treat the community poorly.
I hope that my thoughts will be reflected for the better development of both parties.

  • The reason why farm servers are created in the first place is because it's a huge hassle to open up attachments, weapons, and vehicles, and it's bad enough that you have to do it.
With the current system, you can unlock things through leveling, kills, etc., but it takes a * of time to do so, and it also feels like you can't compete on equal terms without unlocking things.
This system is fine if it expands the scope of the game, but it is very bad if it makes it unequal between newcomers and veterans.
In order to prevent the creation of farm servers caused by this, simply not giving XP in Portal is not a fundamental solution.
Also, if such measures are taken, community servers will not be able to attract people, and fewer people will play the game.
Therefore, we hope that the unlock system will be further adjusted and that Portal will have no problem giving XP.
Other than that, I would like to see the introduction of a set of systems that were used in BF3 and BF4, such as spectator mode and the ability to join and leave any squad, as soon as possible.
These will make it impossible for the community and PR to run the tournament properly.
This makes it hard for me to stay motivated to play the game and to recommend it to others.

In the end, what I'm trying to say is that the disregard for Portal is one of the main reasons for the decline of the community, so please improve it as soon as possible.
  • @Mr_nacs Thank you for your reply.
I think that it is unavoidable that it takes time to acquire experience points.
It hasn't changed since BF3, but legacy systems have gained more diversity from community servers.
EADICE has published some official matching portal servers, but we don't want them. We want to create a similar server to consolidate our community.
The development team should be aware of that fact early.
