Condor / Super-Hind Gameplay Feedback for Update 2.0.0
My feedback is based entirely around how they now affect gameplay flow and how balanced they are.
The New front damage vulnerability is great. It actually requires the pilot to skillfully maneuver the aircraft when flying over objectives to avoid taking an RPG to the face. So it's good, that skill is being rewarded whilst encouraging RPG users to skillfully target the front. I've seen Condor/Hind's now get absolutely decimated over objectives for staying longer than they should, where as before, this would seldom happen and they could just camp objectives, now they can't.
The flight of both the Condor and Hind is in a really good place right now.
The new AA buff ensures that they can't go on rampages or act as flying anti-air vehicles with their mini guns, though this still happens when there's no enemy AA on the map, which is a problem. The miniguns should overheat faster or deal less damage to other aircraft.
The flare and repair cool downs are in a good spot. It ensures that they have to retreat long enough that the enemy can have the breathing room they need from chasing it away whilst also, not making the aircraft hide for too long either.
Suggestions: The transport vehicles need smoke cannons or smoke launchers to help infantry advance onto objectives safely. Maybe a new support cannon for the forward facing cannon.
