Cosmetic prices are way too high

Without the ability to sell certain skins back (for less boins than you paid, of course), I think the prices of most cosmetics are just way too expensive. I had mentioned this in BFV and a current CM at the time agreed.

I have never liked paying for stuff on top of the game - never have - but I would definitely be more inclined to buy a nice looking item for $3 to $5 over something $10+ (IMO, most things should actually only be $1 a piece unless its premium).

I get the developer needs to be compensated for their time and work but I feel like dolphins or whatever the term is would spend more than whales at the right price.

I personally feel the devs got way more compensation than what we received in content.

Especially when the cost of something in American dollars feels very different depending on how high the cost of living where one gets their wage from.
The average salary in California is like 5-6 times more than in Greece for example.

I was thinking since a while to actually open a thread about this topic.

Most funny part is even that you can buy a full pack with like skins, tags and playercards. Or skins separately.

But why the hell not playercards or tags separately?

I would actually like to collect those and care less about skins.

With those prices tho, i won't buy anything.

Personally, I will always keep the playercard that is in memory to the Recon from BFF, so I have no need for other playercards

@UP_Hawxxeye i usually have my favorite too that i basically use, which is most likely EE related rewards.

But it's the collection aspect of things.

You have tabs for playercards, tags and T1 badges which show off a collection and progression.

So it's nice to have if people want to do this.

Skins ain't that obviously listed as like a collection item tho, so it's seen a bit differently.

@TTZ_Dipsy Agreed. I'm traditionally not a buyer of cosmetics, but if the price was significantly lowered I might be tempted. Plus, as UP_Hawxxeye brought up, cost of living is important to take into account.
