@Prep768 Good question. The way I understand it is you get both games...but why do it that way? Why can't PS5 include the 64 player maps so they can drop into games with PS4 players?
Back in the Battlefield 2 days the game came with different sizes of each map. Players could create a lobby with smaller player counts on a medium sized version of say Strike at Karkand or Gulf of Oman, etc. 32 players instead of 64. Seems like the PS5/Series X consoles should be able to do the same.
But of course...Battlefield 2 had a server browser. Are we getting that? Could matchmaking be the issue here? I hope not.
Also, cross progression is a big question for me. They need to clarify that. I'd still play with my PS4 friends, but I'd certainly prefer cross-progression.
