@DuaneDibbley Going across the map like this: crouch, slide, jump and then while in the air the player spins 360°. That is a PC player.
Yep that's definitely a PC hacker doing all of that.
Even the PC Gamer magazine apologized for all of the cheating PC gaming brings to console spaces.

- @Hezek1yah Yo, performance for this game was so bad and the population remains so small that I don't think anyone is actually making cheats for it. There's no money to be made creating a functional cheat for 2042 with only a few thousand players playing on PC.
PC player might have better aim control, yet you can move just like a PC player if you have a paddle controller using higher sensitivity. I really don't notice the PC players as and issue at all to be honest, using a paddle controller...
The only real issue I have with PC is the ease of playing with aimbots and other cheats, so it kind of defeats the purpose of playing console to get away from cheaters.
The other nice part of playing with console only is the fact you know it comes down to skill and sometimes slightly better connection quality as you are running the exact same hardware at the exact same frames per second. When you add PCs with console players, now you are competing with players with 100 plus frames per second, with the consoles stuck at 60 frames per second (or less as my Series X dumps to low 40s on Hourglass map constantly), and yes the pros run 200fps on $1500-$2000 graphic cards for a reason as they would get thrashed running 60fps.
Nobody seems to every talk about the advantage of an extra 100fps...instead the focus is mouse vs keyboard, yet look how many APex players are switching to controller on PC as there are some advantages, yet perhaps not so much with BF 2042 as the aim assist is trash to say the least, versus the aim assist in Apex.
I heard Microsoft is talking with the other platforms and DICE to try to work on a cross platform ban system for cheaters on PCs. I'm not sure if it is in the works or just an idea they have at this point.
- @edgecrusherO0 I agree that PC hacks should be rare which is a unintentional perk of the player death spiral in process. That said, I wish you could spectate players like in most games at that adds a layer of anti-cheat by being spectated as it is easy to see the aimbots and wall hacks working when spectating another player. In BF 2042, there is no way to check out if getting lasered at 150meters by a smg is legit or not. Thus no way to get anyone banned as no video evidence...
- @DeepSixxxx SMG's are pretty broken at range still, heh. But I've still yet to see anyone even remotely approaching "hacking" levels of KDA on the scoreboard. Closest are air pilots who are having uncontested control of the battlefield if they other team doesn't have good pilots, and that's just the result of the absolutely busted design of the whole vehicle/infantry system.

Perhaps the most serious suppliers in that industry skip this game as the customers are spread around in such small bursts that there would be no profits to speak of, but those who remain earn all the more as the mentality of the cheaters does not change just because some suppliers chooses to refrain, if A stops selling cheats, they go to B because playing without, is not an alternative, so in percentage terms they are as many now as if all the suppliers had remained.I think EA has no idea how many console players they're driving away with this. I'm someone who actually enjoys 2042 for the most part, but it's even testing my patience lately. Any match where the enemy team is predominantly PC players is just miserable. Why did anyone think this was a good idea? I don't care if it takes me longer to find a match, they should absolutely segregate console/PC players.
