Seems the option to disable crossplay is greyed out just like in Apex, So just like Warzone Xbox users will be forced into crossplay like it or not. Meanwhile PS5 users can get the option to disable it.
- @1Hairy-Gorilla Well, it can be turned off outside of the game, but there are no servers available when crossplay is off... so it is a new problem it seems.
@carsono311 That system wide option isn't the same as turning off crossplay though as its a MS system not the games choice. It also means even less will do it lol. It seems EA should been up front about this. giving 1 set of players no option isn't right.

@1Hairy-Gorilla that sounds suspiciously like a bug and I'll ensure it's reported.
I disabled cross play and could not Play the game, it would find a match but it would just sit there saying waiting on more players.
Cross play is cancer. I hope this is fixed soon I do not want to play against PC players.

- @ragnarok013 Hope so. Because I don't want to play versus keyboards and mouses. With disabling that option game just classifying for refunding for me.

- @1Hairy-Gorilla we don't have to forget or ignore that Xbox is the console partner! But based on the cross-play feature Playstation got more love...
- @1Hairy-Gorilla On Xbox you have to turn crossplay off on a system level, which is just stupid because if there are games you want crossplay on, you have to go back and turn it on on the system level.
You can find AOW games. There may be some bots, but after turning off crossplay last night, I haven’t had any issue finding AOW server with mostly real players or completely full.
This does need to be changed because it is a major pain to change it on the system level. There also needs to be a console only or input based matchmaking. I don’t want to play against mouse and keyboard users, but I would like to have PlayStation users in the mix to have a larger player base.- @ElCapitan006 Hell yea, but they(DICE PIGS) just treat we customers with no response at all. They think you Xbox players are not important at f king all.
