Everyone just needs to take a step back and calm down, I'm sure Dice will get this sorted out.
I'm not going to refund you or shutup.
DICE needs to have some kind of representative to surf the board here and answer questions.
It's nuts that a thread like this with such a simple question gets to run 9 pages, when a simple answer by a DICE representative would have put an end to all this speculation which people naturally do when there is uncertainty about something important to them and they can't get an answer.
- @VOLBANKER_PC They are ignoring it as they hope we will just accept it, well we wont as all future purchase from EA or Dice wont happen from any more. This was the last straw.
can't agree more. It's the hottest topic here and everything can be settled down with an official guy promising they will fix it. Or confirm this is a "bug" rather than a lie to xbox players (although I am skeptical about this because of the text explanation is different in ps5 and xbox) in known issues. Honestly I own both xbox and ps5 but won't go for the ps5 version. It's about the manner ea teats their customers. Time to vote with my wallet.
- @Sci0n Well I usually would of stuck it out but I don't fancy waiting and waiting and it just ends up like warzone were they do nothing. That's why I got a refund today and I'm gutted to be fair because iv been looking forward to this all year if they add the option to disable ill buy again but until then I'm out.
- @yanmuheng I'm the same as u i own both console but like to play multiplayer on xbox. Just dont fancy it on ps5.
I prefer FPS on xbox because of the controller paddles haha
Im pretty sure its more of a MS policy, than a EA/Dice "feature".
But if it is true, that you have the choice on Apex (dunno not played it much) to turn off cross-play, then there's literally no reason it couldnt be done for Battlefield.
Lets hope it gets fixed, to the product described.
Also first time i get 360 sniped in the face, i will turn it off lol
I have bought the game for Xbox series X, gold edition, but I have my refound now. Crossplay options bad, maps so flats, no textures in many objects, you must play with pc users however you can't use same peripherals, many times looks like a running simulator, huge maps but flag area is just. A few square meters... In two months free in game pass... Time to time
