@-z-a-c-k-3-B I think its cross play between PC and PS5/Series X. Cross play with PS4/Xbox One might be tricky since they are 64 player matches only. Then again, it could be a case where the PC/PS5/Series X includes 64 player versions of the maps so they could play with PS4/Xbox One players.

LOL @ "didnt pan out" thats the biggest understatement, as long as i can have an option to not play with PC players im good.
Well in Apex we don't like crossplay for that consoles has no recoil, its easier to play on console than PC. As tryhard I can beat cheaters more easily in Apex than I can Console players which is just terrible design.

maybe crossplay on the 64 player maps as in ps4 and ps5... but possible with like the xbox series x to pc.
we will see in the coming months.In my opinion, since PS5 & Series X still under a high demand so I think majority of the people still doesn't own a unit yet(Including myself).
If that's the case, I think a good way to resolve this would be EA implementing the crossplay and the 64 player mode in PC, PS5 & Series X users.
So people can still still enjoy playing with their friends even if they own different gen. consoles, and gives players more varieties to play(64 or 128 Mode).
But that's just the concept, not sure if it would actually work. lol
- @ExGravity this exactly, if there is crossplay, I would like to see crossplay between both old and new gen (and pc) in 64 mode, as well as crossplay between new gen and pc (in 128 mode), but maybe that's just wishful thinking...
