Curious to know why do people spend money on cosmetics?

If you're one of those green ogres living under a rock, here is an answer - fashion.

Humans like to look and be different.

Expensive phones, accessories, brand clothing that doesn't look or feel different apart from an expensive logo. Expensive cars that take you from point A to point B in the exact same as a normal car.

I like how skins look, happy? I like weapon skin, some of them even have P2W sights.

Some character skins give you an advantage of being less visible.

And I just like my character looking good.


My God, the more I think about you, the more I believe you're an actual Shrek living in a swamp away from civilization. Game cosmetics have been around for DECADES, but only now you consider people who buy them "an enemy" Lol people who buy cosmetics are the ones paying for your "live service"
