For balance, you would have the option of a gun OR medpacks, ammo, etc.
Its a great idea, there is a lot of potential.
Definitely such robots are used for transport of items.
- medipacks
- munition
- armor plates
- equipment changes
Problem might be they move all the time, but I think it's solvable.
