Looks like there is a bit of voodoo when it comes to getting a decent FPS, even with 'high' end rigs. This is likely due to performance issues in the early release of the game.So I thought it might be a good idea to have some comparative specs for rigs, game settings and FPS. This may give us something to measure. Also valuable for the developers...I'll start with mine, which is a four year old rig, which was decent with BF5...Windows 10 Pro 64-bitCPU: Intel Core i7 7700K @ 4.20GHzRAM: Corsair Vengeance 32G DDR4 DRAM 2400MHzMotherboard: MSI Z270 KRAIT GAMING GPU: MSI Geforce GTX 1080 Armor OC 8G Monitor: Asus ROG PG43UQ 4K UHD 144Hz G-Sync50 to 60 FPS (full moon, no clouds, Venus rising, empty glass sitting on a post). Game profile attached, though generally low settings, but the devil is in the detail. 🐱

Only ray tracing ambient occlusion is off. On foot on most maps i average around 80-120 fps depending on the map and on the location or what im doing.On average i'm usually around the 100fps mark. While in the air I get much higher around 110-140fps not sure why the disparity.

CPU ryzen 5950x, Rtx 3080 suprim X, 32go ddr4 on 3440x1440 full ultra without RT have 90/100fps constantly. Nice 👍

I get awful awful FPS usually in the 40s but 1% and 0.1% lows are in the 10s. And if I get into a crowded area of breakthrough the average goes to 10... I know it is a cpu bottleneck from utilization. Using the in-game command "perfOverlay.DrawFps 1" in the console from pressing the tilde key I can see that it is a cpu bottleneck and gpu is in the 80s. In the 64 player portal maps it performs better. Build it during the lockdown in the winter of 2020. Runs BF pretty well. No complains.

Hmm I have similar to you, and overclocked my i7 9700k with the asus smart app.
But my fps is way lower.....

@FlatChatI9 11900k @ 4.5GHz, rtx 3070, 16GB G.skill RAM, z590 mobo averaged 70-80fps with frequent drops into the 55fps (all settings on (LOW) range until refunding

@FlatChat i5 9400f, 16GB RAM, rx570 4GB. Mine isn’t a high-end PC, but BF1 runs 80-100 fps on Ultra preset, reaching even 130 on night maps. Forza Horizon 5 is around 70-80 fps average on High preset. BF2042 on the other hand is full low, everything off, I even set the resolution to 900p and reaches only 60-80 fps, but it’s unplayable, due to constant stuttering. :/

Im getting 110-120 FPS mostly 120 FPS locked on High Settings with my rig below:

Got a almost steady 100fps. With everything on low (which makes the game even better looking lol)
