Demand refund for early access "beta release"
It's simply insane to me that during the beta console players had cross play. And only early launch it is some how gone. If we all remember before during the beta it was stated that ceossplay console...

I'm going to be brutally honest here and it's not because I think people shouldn't be angry at DICE with the state of the game, etc., but I feel a "told you so" is in order here. Not to you personally but to all those early adopters paying premium prices only to be disappointed in some way or another time and time again. We always seem to arrive at this same place where some come into a forum and try to rally the troops, telling people what many of us already knew. I find myself asking, when will these people learn?
Personally, I think these early releases in Gold Editions, etc. are a good thing for folks like me. I actually use them to learn for myself whether a game will be worth buying. I get to see where the problem areas are, ask questions of those who are playing the game, watch the gameplay videos, reviews and most importantly the developer's reaction. If issues that I'm concerned about are addressed prior to the full release, then I'll buy the game. If I see they are really struggling or not dealing well with the situation, I will pass on the game and perhaps revisit it later.
I was really looking forward to BF2042 and actually still am, but my main (perhaps only) focus is on Portal. I don't care about a lot of things some folks are complaining about although the suspension of the XP in Portal may be a deciding factor for me if not resolved by the full release.
Just to be clear though, I'm not an apologist. .....I'm a realist. I think you have every right to be disgruntled about the issues but hopefully you can get your refund and / or at least learn a lesson from this for next time.
@Kean_1111 You're right and I learned my preorder lesson after BF5. Thank god I'm only on the 10 hour trial. Feel bad actually for the people that got this at launch. Heck, they probably felt that with 3+ years of development the game would be solid. Foiled again....

Foiled again....I still preorder games and in rare case will even purchase Gold Editions, etc., but typically for the reason of what other things they come with. ....not necessarily for early access although that's just a bit of a bonus. I won't pay extra for it though. In either case, it's usually after playing alphas / betas that I'm impressed with and I'm willing to take the risk.
As for BF2042, I will very likely purchase it next week even with the issues we know of. To be frank, some of the shortcomings people have with it are not really a concern for me (e.g. scoreboards, in-game comms, specialists, etc. My friends and I will really only be buying the game for it's Portal mode for use mainly as PvE experiences with some PvP within our own group. ....not randoms.
My only real concern is what happens with XP after the temporary suspension of it in Portal and the servers.

I'll await the full release to see improvement if not I'll submit a refund

I'll await the full release to see improvement if not I'll submit a refundYeah, that sucks. I can't imagine this won't be addressed at some point though especially in those cases where consoles are being matched with PCs.
I think the problem lies with the whole matchmaking system, not a lack of players. It's a mess from the sound of it.
The thing is, none of this will really affect my decision next week as my interest in the game is solely focused on Portal. ....building solo, coop and PvP experiences with only my PS friends. My main concerns right now are the servers and what they do with the XP solution.
- @BtheReaper49 Please don't feel bad for me, I had a blast this weekend and within about 30 minutes of stepping foot in my workplace today, I just covered the extra few bucks I paid for early access.
