The level of destruction in post BC2 games has been poor.
Bad Company 2's level of destruction has been unmatched or beaten since and its a shame its gone down hill with all BF games that followed it, even more sad is that for over 10 years we haven't had the same quality of destruction in subsequent BF games.
What's the information on the level and quality of destruction in 2042?
I'm just reminiscing over what could have been......
I knew it would be a complete s h it show, 7 months before and longer.
Becuase you love a franchise like Battlefield you try and build yourself up to hope it will be the best BF game yet, you voice your concerns early to try and alleviate them and hope someone replies with the answer your looking for and hope that a dev may come across your post and think 'yeh, lets put some more effort into destruction since its been complete dog s h it BF4 onwards'.
And then you get the same and see its the same shambles and worse then before.
They introduce insane mechanic such as a tornado..........?! Are you kidding me?!
A torando?!
It beggars belief that the devs at EA/DICE had a meeting and decided lets scale back the overall quality and destruction levels to add in a tornado.......... i really don't know what they were thinking?!
I don't mind the tornado, I just wish it did more actual damage along its path. It should be ripping buildings to pieces and changing the map, levolution style.
Other weather types would be welcome too, like the storms seen in Parcel Storm and the Pacific map in BF5.
I posted elsewhere that with every new BF game something gets removed or reduced. The attention to detail in previous games just isn't present in 2042.
It's a lightweight BF game and DICE need to get it in the gym to seriously beef it up.
