@AngrySquid270 WoW. I am amazed at the level of acceptance you are portraying here.
1) DICE has even said they weren't happy with where the game was at launch. Seriously? They Made it so they should have Fixed it!
2) Go read the blog posts. Go watch the Dev talk videos. Go listen to the podcasts. Scroll through the Dev's personal Twitter feeds. Who in the world has the time for all of that, plus, isn't that what OFFICIAL Sites are for, you know, such as THIS one? Oh, I also work for a living, and damn hard too I might add, and the precious little downtime I do have I want to be able to enjoy something that I have PAID FOR with hard-earned money.
3) The online community isn't always right, and the online community isn't necessarily representative of the entire player base. Just because the entire community player base does not pop in here and state it, it does not mean that they all don't feel ripped off with this game and how low the content is from launch till now.
4) Consider that 2042 has likely been bought/downloaded 10million times. Yes, and I wonder what the count would be with the amount of Un-Installs and Removals would be through disgust and anger at the plus poor game content for the full asking price paid.
5) You make it seem like community feedback should be sole/primary factor in the decision making process. Not entirely, but at the very least it Should be the FIRST site they publish things on because this is Their Official Site is it not. Shocker here, but not everyone uses Twitter or Facebook and the likes.
6) The reality is that DICE is likely constrained/influenced by other factors. Budget. EA directives. Available resources/skills. So what you are implying here is that they are prepared to take the Full Asking Price for this game but guarantee Nothing? The factors you just mentioned are in their control, however I can't do anything about incompetent greedy management, but as one of the 10 Million people you mentioned, surely I should have an expectation that this game should be better than the last one.
7) If you don't then I'll conclude that the only possible explanation is that you didn't listen. WoW, finishing with sarcasm. Well, once again, They made the game, so They should fix the game which I appreciate they are doing, but it's in drips and drabs and only after a barage of customer anger toward them.
However, that does not and cannot excuse the sheer lack of game content. Remember this thing dropped with NO Campaign and hardly any Maps, so in effect barely Half of the game, and yet we all had to pay Full asking price and wait whilst they decided in their own time to fix things.
I find it incredible that you are actually trying to defend this whole thing
