Hello I just want to say that I saw gameplay of battlefield 2042 and i know that it’s unfinished and there’s just plenty more to add and fix and I’m in no way judging the game, all that I am right now Is just really worried. but I just know that you guys removed the breathing and the g-strain of the pilot when inside jets in first person, and this is a major downgrade from the previous battlefields, so please someone or if DICE Devs see this post let them know to add in the first person immersion of the pilot doing the g-strain cause it seems really boring in first person in the jets cause it just won’t feel real inside jet with out it, like i want to feel like I am my character playing. So if any battlefield veterans agree with me on this and if you are as worried as I am about this crucial detail please make this post popular for they can read this. but again I am no way of judging a months old build of the game, or anything! I preordered battlefield 2042 and I am really excited to play it, I am just worried cause I main jets and I am always flying in first person cause I enjoy that, and just seeing and hearing my character was the best part of flying in battlefield, thanks for taking your time to read this!

@Marshennn authenticity ?flight physics in bf 42 felt pretty authentic. And they always dumbed them down because it seems to me like they view their customers as supposedly mature with brains of 5 years old in terms of development and skill. First game/s compared to those 10 years later have pretty much nothing in common.BF2 has seen downgrades to gameplay difficulty and skill ceilings.I played bf 4 and there even tanks have afterburners, I havent seen any ricochets, all these things remove from immersion.A HMG bullet being faster with a flatter trajectory than a tank sabot round ?Until you learn above all these things, which I would encourage people to, only then will you understand how shallow the newer games are. Graphics cant make up for that. There is so much unrealistic, where is friendly fire ? You see ? It takes effort to not take out friendlies.I have seen absolute zero leaked footage, I did not look for it, so I have really low expectations for all these immersion breakers.I havent seen much of proportional missile navigation. I could go on and on with major details being so off.

Didn't battlefield 4 implement a similar feature? When you made high G maneuvers, you could hear the oxygen mask push air and the screen would sorta go dark?

How immersed are you going to feel with the G-strain compared without the implementation of this mechanic?
Will you be super stoked about this mechnic the first 15 minutes of gameplay and after that you will be able to ignore the G-strain-thingy?

So I wouldn’t be super stoked for 15 minutes, I would be for the rest of the years this game will be out for. But without it just won’t feel the same, so hope that answers your question.

@doctorzalost Yes battlefield 4 and battlefield 3 you could hear the oxygen mask when you made high G maneuvers, but the feature when the screen goes dark isn’t on there, that’s this whole new feature on Battlefield 2042 now, and I was just starting to think that if they are gonna add the screen being blacked out by doing high G turns, why would they not add the pilot breathing and doing the G-Strains?? You guys ask me

@DeeCay_DK_81 DICE always prides itself on authenticity and attention to detail. And while such details don't add anything to the gameplay directly, they do add to that authenticity and it indirectly has an impact on how the game feels. There's a reason why Battlefield games have such an unmatched intensity. The audio, visuals, mechanics, effects they all play a crucial role in this.
Obviously though it's silly to judge a game based on some leaked footage and I'm sure the actual game will have tons of little details like every past Battlefield did.
