We already have the call in system for Vehicles and the ranger. Why not expand on that to give us map assets we've been missing?
We have a lack of ammo boxes on the Battlefield. Why not call in a resupply depot at spawn points? How about stationary AA call-ins?
Hell call in fortifications or air strikes!
Lets build on the call in system!

it'd be nice if we could just have supplies at every objective/spawn point
That or even if they bring in the squad contract system with Squad management, this could help with assets!

Ammo distribution could use some improvements.
A a call in ammo crate might help, but that seems like it'd be stepping on Angel's specialty. Angel would have to get something else.
Other ideas I'd like to see DICE experiment with:
-Ability to have more than ( 1) ammo box deployed.
-A single gadget box that provides both ammo and health
-Along the lines of OPs suggestion - bring back the BFV ammo fortification stations - which can only be supplied/constructed using Angel's call in ability. This should provide some reliable/semi-permanent source of ammo.
-Increase the ammo we spawn with and/or increase the max carry capacity.
