I get to complete maybe 2-3 matches a day, while crashing 10-12 times. There is no way humanly possible to complete the BP or T1 for this season like this. Are we going to get an extra week for S3 in Week 12 to make up for this lost time?
It's interesting DICE hasn't officially acknowledged the issue on Twitter.

They did.
We are just waiting for what they have to say but I doubt we hear anything till Monday
The weeks arent locked if they change to a new week before you complete. You can complete earlier week's missions.

I am more talking about the end of the season in general.
If you can only get 2-3 rounds in per day (out of 15 normally), it will be virtually impossible to complete the BP or T1 in the next 4 weeks. I am basically losing out on 10-12 tokens per day right now.
BP is easier and most will get it due to Gold/Ultimate. However, for T1, for those with Gold, you will need 190 more tokens (or 19 more BP levels) than BP Level 100; so unless you are around BP level 90 now, getting T1 will be impossible.On Tuesday, start of Week 9, there are no more than 28 days left. You can earn the weekly missions 4 times (49x4=196), plus 3 rounds daily for 3 additional tokens (28x3=84) = 196+84=280. So if you have Gold, you will need to start Week 9 with Level 91 complete (870 tokens + 280 = 1150) if you can only get in 3 full rounds per day. With the crashing, this is basically how much I can play right now.
- @Adamonic So...until today I've been staying away from the game for several days due to all the crashing complaints, thinking that I didn't want to deal with that sort of thing right now....
...but today I tried to play. I played 3 matches. 1 in solo/coop on new orbital map and 2 in Portal, but had no crashes.
So I guess I'm wondering now, is there a known map or mode that the crashes typically occur in?- @BigShottt that's great, I have been playing CQ, Tactical CQ, and BT. All of them have crashed. Once one crashed, I went to a new mode. I haven't tried Portal yet.
- @EA_Atic So after clearing out both the Nvidia DirectX cache and the BF2042 cache folders and booting up the game...my crashing is now worse because NOW I'm crashing in the Weapons Collection screen before I can even think about starting a match.
What I can see is that after reaching the main menu upon booting up that my SSD drive is constantly reading, as if stuck in an endless loop...I mean Im seeing a solid white drive light...almost no flicker, and it doesnt stop ever...even though im just sitting there at main menu...
...then when i get into the weapon collection screen the game just freezes, the gpu usage goes way down so my gpu goes silent, but the game, even though frozen, is still using a small amount of cpu AND the SSD is still going like crazy in that endless loop of reads.
...just thought this might help, if you could pass it on.Whenever my game is about to crash, or most times, the game locks itself at about 45fps. When I check the resource manager, my GPU is not being used. It kinda seems like the game stops using my GPU right before it crashes.
Anyone experiencing something similar?
This is getting really frustrating though. I’m about to go back through the thread to see if there’s any updates.
I didn't even complete any challenges this past week. This *'s unplayable after the recent patch.
Dice's incompetence continues to reach new lows.
